The Liberian Community Association of Central New Jersey and the Metro area offers a wide range of programs that cater to the needs of its community members. Youth Development

Back to School Project

The Liberian Community Association of Central New Jersey’s Annual Back-to-School Project is an event that takes place each year to support the educational needs of students from the Liberian community. This event is a great opportunity for students to receive the necessary resources to succeed in the upcoming academic year.

The event usually takes place a few weeks before the start of the school year, and it is attended by students, parents, and community leaders.  The goal of the event is to provide students with the necessary resources, knowledge, and support to start the new school year with confidence and success.

One of the essential parts of the event is the distribution of school supplies such as pencils, pens, notebooks, backpacks, and other essential items needed by students for academic success. These supplies are donated by local businesses, organizations, and individuals who believe in the importance of education and supporting the local community.
