Our Approach

The Liberian Community Association of Central New Jersey and the Metro area is proud to offer a range of programs and initiatives that aim to improve the lives of our members and the wider community. Our programs are diverse and tailored to meet the unique needs of Liberians living in Central New Jersey and the Metro area.

One of our most exciting projects is the Community Hall Project, which is aimed at creating a space where members of the Liberian community can come together for cultural events, educational activities, and community meetings. This project is an ongoing effort, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our community has a safe and welcoming space to gather and celebrate our heritage.

We also place a strong emphasis on Youth Development Programs. Our goal is to equip young Liberians with the skills and resources they need to succeed in school and beyond. We offer mentorship programs, career development workshops, and educational opportunities to help young people in our community realize their full potential.

Another important initiative is our Elder Care Program. We recognize the invaluable contributions that our elders have made to our community, and we are committed to providing them with the support and care they need. Our program offers a range of services, including home visits, medical assistance, and social activities to ensure that our elders feel valued and supported.

Our Community Clean-Up project is aimed at keeping our neighborhoods clean and safe. We organize regular clean-up events to help keep our streets, parks, and public spaces free of litter and debris. This initiative is a collaborative effort, and we work closely with local businesses and organizations to create a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone.

Finally, our Back-to-School Project is an annual event that provides school supplies to students in need. We believe that education is a key component of success, and we want to ensure that every child in our community has access to the resources they need to excel in school.

At the Liberian Community Association of Central New Jersey and the Metro area, we are dedicated to providing our community with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. We invite you to join us in our efforts and help us build a stronger, more vibrant community.
